Team Lal Sing 2 has won the mens Waila Youth Easter volleyball competition today after defeating Navuso 2 by 24-26.
The champion team led at half-time by 25-17 and managed to hold their defence until the final whistle to win the $200 prize money.
In the women's competition, team Cobert defeated Waila 1 by 15-10 and also won the prize money of $50.
Waila Youth President Seremaia Dabea earlier stated that the one-day competition aims to promote peace and harmony within their neighborhood.
