Team Fiji Paralympics arrive in Narita, Japan

Team Fiji Paralympics has arrived at Narita in Japan.

They were met with Fiji Embassy in Tokyo representative Kelera Savu.

Team Fiji athletes to the Paralympics are Iosefo Rakesa who will compete in the F41 category in shot put and javelin and Australian-based Inosi Matea Bulimairewa who is scheduled to compete in the javelin F63 division.

They are coached by Freddy Fatiaki.

Fatiaki coached Iliesa Delana when he won Fiji’s first gold medal at the London 2012 Paralympics.

The Paralympic Games will be held from Tuesday, 24th August to Sunday, 5th September.

Rakesa will compete at 12.30pm on 30th August while Bulimairewa will compete at 10pm on September 4th.
