Football fans in Tavua are in for a big day today at Garvey Park, where three matches are scheduled, including Tavua FC’s final Extra Premier League game before their relegation to the senior division.
The action kicks off at 11am with the youth clash between Tavua U-19 and Ba U-19 in the Extra U-19 Boys Youth League.
At 1:30pm, fans will enjoy a special curtain-raiser as the Tavua Legends take on the Ba Legends, bringing back former stars to the field.
The main event kicks off at 3pm as Tavua FC plays its final match in the Extra Premier League after a winless season.
While their relegation is already confirmed, Tavua will be playing for pride and to show appreciation to their loyal home supporters.
Ba, meanwhile, will use the match as preparation for next month’s FMF Inter-District Championship.
