The Labour Minister said the 62 employees off Taunovo Bay Resort are not supposed to be on strike as the Ministry has not been officially informed of their grievances.
Filipe Bole said his officials will investigate the matter tomorrow.
The staff of Taunovo Bay resort walked off their jobs on Friday claiming they had not been paid since November 15th last year.
According to the striking workers, some of the employees at the Resort have been given $40 last week to cover for their expenses.
The workers remain away from work this afternoon.
No comments could be obtained from the Management of Taunovo Bay resort.
