Tamavua-I-Wai bridge construction works to cause traffic jam

Expect traffic if you are planning to travel along Queens Highway as works on the Tamavua-i-Wai Bridge has started and will run till tomorrow.

The Fiji Roads Authority says the works will then resume next Wednesday till Saturday and it will be carried out during off-peak hours, between 9am and 3pm daily.

It says a traffic management plan is in place to guide road users.

FRA has said that the new Tamavua-i-Wai bridge is expected to be completed by June.
