Taiwan donates masks, gowns and thermal imaging cameras to Fiji
Donations made by Taiwan for frontline workers in the fight against COVID-19

Taiwan has donated the first batch of 10,000 surgical masks, 1,000 N95 masks, 50 gowns and 2 infrared thermal imaging cameras to Fiji in our efforts to combat the rapid rise of COVID-19 cases.

The Taipei Trade Office in Fiji purchased the masks worth $21,000 from a local medical supplier in Suva and handed it over to the Ministry of Health.

They say the donation is a reflection of Taiwan’s goodwill and friendship towards the government and people of Fiji

Another shipment of N95 masks, surgical masks and Personal Protective Equipment from Taiwan is expected to arrive soon.

Taiwan donated 32,000 surgical masks, 2,000 N95 masks, 2,000 gowns and 500 personal protective clothes to Fiji last year.
