Tago scores twice as Panthers beat Storm 34-16

Izack Tago scored a double for the Penrith Panthers, while Stephen Crichton scored 14 points as the defending NRL champions defeated the Melbourne Storm 34-16.

The Storm dominated for 32 minutes to set up a 14-0 lead before the defending premiers made a statement of their own with three tries in eight minutes to take a two-point advantage into half-time.

Other tries for the Panthers came from Liam Martin, Zac Hosking and Brian To'o.

In other results, the Sharks beat the Dragons 52-16 and the Rabbitohs defeated the Warriors 28-6.

Today, the Raiders will face the Titans at 5pm, the Cowboys will take on the Wests Tigers at 7.30pm and the Broncos will meet the Dolphins at 9.35pm.
