Tagivetaua of QVS wins gold in the 1,500 metres Junior Boys

Queen Victoria School’s Waisale Tagivetaua has won his first gold medal in the Coca Cola Games 1,500 metres Junior Boys which is also the first medal for the Tailevu based school.

Rosivela Matanimeke of Waidina Secondary School from Naitasiri provided stiff competition to Tagivetaua but had to settle for the silver medal.

Orisi Bukasiga of Xavier College will take home the bronze medal.
