The family that lost everything in a fire last week at Howell Road in Suva got a surprise visit this afternoon from Parliamentarian Lynda Tabuya.

People from all walks of life also showed up at the residence with relief supplies.

While speaking to fijivillage News, Tabuya says she was in the north when she saw a post on social media and made an effort to visit the family.

Tabuya says she is thankful that no one lost their lives.

She adds looking out for one another in need is something that will unite us.

Tabuya is urging everyone to be a good Samaritan and to reach out to those in need.
