Tabuya pleads not guilty to a count of Malicious Act

SODELPA MP Lynda Tabuya has pleaded not guilty to one count of Malicious Act in the Suva Magistrates Court.

She was charged by Police for her post on social media in relation to COVID-19. It is alleged that Tabuya posted on Facebook that “Let’s get one thing straight Fiji, the government brought Coronavirus to Fiji. #StopBlamingThePeople #Criminal Negligence.” 

The bail ruling for Tabuya will be at 2.30pm today.
