Tabuya inspired to go into politics by her village chief in Tiliva in Kadavu the late Konisi Yabaki

Opposition Whip Lynda Tabuya today shared in parliament that she was first inspired to go into politics by her village chief in Tiliva, Kadavu, the late Konisi Yabaki who was also a Government Minister under the SDL government.

Tabuya also acknowledged her mother, Taufa Tabuya who was also seated in the gallery in parliament.

She also spoke about how her humble beginnings in Wakanisila, Kalabu fueled her dreams and aspirations and the support of Leader of Oppostion, Sitiveni Rabuka.  

Tabuya adds that in a genuine attempt to make Fiji a home she has always wanted it to be she also reiterated the President, Jioji Konrote’s call for unity and agreed that a call for unity is the basis of true patriotism.
