The players of Under-19 Extra Fiji Secondary Schools Football Championship winners, Tabia Sanatan College, have been recognised for their hard work and for winning the championship for the first time during a celebration of their achievement.

Coach Salesh Narayan says they are proud of the team for executing their game plan as expected.

Team Technical Advisor Shavnil Sharma says some of the players travelled to Viti Levu for the first time, and playing at the newly built stadium, with its longer field, different conditions, and being away from home, was the most challenging part for the team.

He adds that under the guidance of their experienced captain Dan Steiner, who has represented both Labasa and Fiji, the team overcame these challenges.

Sharma says the players have received cash prizes, jerseys, medals, Bula shirts, and other merchandise from sponsors.

Tabia Sanatan College won the championship in August 2025, defeating Vunimono High School 1-0 in extra time.
