Veteran halfback TJ Perenara is in line for his first All Blacks appearance of the year after being called up to the squad before the test against Scotland next Monday.

Perenara starred for the All Blacks XV in their 47-19 demolition of Ireland A at Dublin last Saturday and will swap places with Brad Weber in the New Zealand camp as part of their rotation policy.

Weber will drop to the All Blacks (15) XV squad for their match against the Barbarians, while Perenara joins halfbacks Aaron Smith and Finlay Christie in coach Ian Foster's squad.

Midfielders Roger Tuivaisa-Sheck and Braydon Ennor have also been called up from the All Blacks XV.

Foster confirmed the changes today and revealed the decision to bring in Perenara was always the plan after losing Folau Fakatava to injury.

The All Blacks will meet Scotland at 3.15 am next Monday.
