The Telecom Fiji Limited will be looking at measures to avert the strike by Close to 1,200 members of the Fiji Post and Telecom Employees Association next month.
Chief Executive, Taito Tabaleka said the Association had asked for 10% Cost of Living Adjustment however after negotiations TFL agreed to pay 3%.
He stressed that the company is not in a position to pay more to the workers.
The members of Fiji Post and Telecom Employees Association are expected to start taking a secret ballot for strike action on the 19th of next month, if both managements continue to ignore their demands.
Post Fiji management is expected to comment later.
