T20 World Cup: India beats Pakistan by 6 runs

India beat Pakistan by 6 runs to win the group stage match at the T20 World Cup in New York this morning.

Pakistan finished on 113 runs with 7 wickets in pursuit of 120 runs.

They were well set at 73-2 but lost regular wickets to slow scoring.

India were bowled out for 119 in 19 overs where Rishabh Pant topped with 42 runs.

Meanwhile, India is leading Group A with 4 points followed by USA also with 4 points, Canada is third with 2 points while Pakistan is fourth with zero points.

South Africa will face Bangladesh tomorrow at 2.30am.
