Radio Sargam’s Santa Bhaiyaji Christmas Promotion has brought smiles to two winners, 70-year-old Suraj Mati from Navua and 55-year-old Urmila Devi from Nadi, who are taking $250 each home this Christmas.

In an interview with fijivillage News, Suraj Mati says she entered the draw by calling Radio Sargam.

She says she plans to use the money to help with her brother’s dialysis treatments.

Mati says having recently lost her husband, the prize comes as a significant relief for her family, as all her siblings can now collectively support her brother's medical care.

She wishes for peace and happiness for all as families come together for the holiday season.

Urmila Devi says she also entered the draw by calling the station.

Devi says she plans to use the $250 for her medical expenses and to contribute to Christmas celebrations with her family.

She says she feels happy and thankful for this timely financial support.

She encourages others to keep participating in such promotions, saying that Sargam never disappoints its listeners and always creates opportunities for joy.

Devi also shares her condolences for the families who lost loved ones in the recent Vanuatu earthquake, urging everyone to keep them in their prayers this Christmas.

Meanwhile, Radio Sargam Content Director Sneh Chaudhary says the promotion’s aim was to spread happiness by fulfilling listeners’ Christmas wishes.

She says the station is thrilled for the winners and is happy to see how the prizes are making a difference in their lives.

Chaudhary urges those who did not win not to be disheartened but to keep trying, as opportunities like these are created to bring joy to all.

She urges listeners to embrace the spirit of giving this Christmas.
