Papua New Guinea’s Supreme Court today unanimously declared the 2021 budget unconstitutional, invalid and therefore ineffective.

PNGFM’s website, pnghausbung.com reports that the court was in favour of applicant Peter O’Neill’s application to declare the November 17th recall of parliament and other business.

The PNG Parliament will reconvene on Monday 14th December to continue the November sitting.
