Supplementary Budget to be tabled in Parliament on Thursday 26th March at 7.30pm

Attorney General and Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum will present a Supplementary Budget to parliament on Thursday, 26th March 2020 at 7.30pm.

This has been confirmed by the Parliamentary Secretariat.

The Supplementary Budget debate will take place from Monday, 6th April to Thursday, 9th April 2020.

Fijivillage has received information that the Supplementary Budget is being brought in to deal with COVID-19 and the precautionary measures and plans amongst other things.

There is no confirmed COVID-19 case in Fiji at the moment.

The Parliamentary Business Committee met this afternoon and has unanimously approved that the parliamentary business scheduled for 16th to 20th March 2020 has been deferred to the Parliament sitting scheduled for 27th April to 1st May 2020.
