Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem confirms that the first green voter card 1.0 will expire in June this year.
Saneem is urging voters to update their card.
He says the new blue voter card 2.0 will have their polling venues written on it and will resolve all issues voters face while trying to locate their venues.
He adds that 1,655 voters were removed from the voter registration list.
They were confirmed to be dead and three had also renounced their Fijian citizenship.
The total number of registered voters as at 31st December last year is 644,749 compared to 637,527 registered voters in the 2018 general elections.
