A major supermarket outlet was completely destroyed by fire late last night at the Tebara Shopping Plaza, Nakasi.
The National Fire Authority confirms the incident saying their officers from Valelevu station attended to a fire call at around 11 last night and upon arrival saw the supermarket on fire.
NFA added they managed to stop the fire from spreading to other shops.
There were no reported injuries and investigation has started to ascertain the cause of the fire.
