Sulueti had to look after me and my mother as well as maintain her career as a teacher - Rabuka

People's Alliance Leader Sitiveni Rabuka has paid tribute to his wife Sulueti for her dedication to their family.

Rabuka says he married Sulueti on 25th January 1975 and she immediately had his blind mother to look after.

He says he was a junior military officer in the Army at the time and grew up in a very competitive military environment of the early stages of a young Independent nation.

Rabuka adds his wife had to look after him and his mother as well as maintain her career as a secondary school teacher

He says when he became Prime Minister, his wife resigned from the career she loved which was teaching.
