Students affected by floods will be assisted to return to school

Minister for Education Rosy Akbar.

Students affected by Tropical Cyclone Ana have been assured by the Ministry of Education that they will be provided with the necessary assistance.

Minister Rosy Akbar says they do not want parents to worry about sending their children to school.

She says the parents should focus on getting their lives back together.

Akbar also says they will allow parents to assess whether it will be safe to send their children to school on Monday.

Schools are scheduled to be re-opened on Monday.
