A stolen taxi that was used as a getaway vehicle after a robbery at a service station early this morning has been found abandoned at Balabala Crescent, Newtown.
Announcements were made for public assistance to locate the yellow taxi registration LT 1164 on Legend FM early this morning.
The taxi was stolen from Bulei Road, Laucala Beach, when the driver parked the taxi with its key still in the ignition to buy a recharge card.
Meanwhile, the hunt continues for the 4 masked youths who robbed the service station attendant and fled in the taxi.
