Minister for Local Government, Maciu Nalumisa says they are trying to complete the groundwork for the Municipal Elections and are at the tail end now.
Nalumisa highlighted this to the media, saying there are still a few things to sort out with the Solicitor General's Office, and they will then can make some announcements.
When asked if it will be before the 2026 General Elections, Nalumisa says that is something he will have to confirm with Cabinet.
