Acting Police Commissioner, Rusiate Tudravu says sports is a powerful tool that unites and brings about joy even in the most challenging times.
Tudravu highlighted this while speaking at the Southern Division Youth Sports Tournament which was held at the FMF Gymnasium today.
He says they hope this tournament can help expose the hidden talents of youths.
Tudravu thanked the Chinese Ambassador Qian Bo for partnering with them to empower youths through sports.
Nineteen teams took part in the Basketball and Volleyball competitions.
Bo says they are always happy to support the work of the Fiji Police Force and expressed gratitude towards the protection of Chinese nationals.
