Speeding remains a problem from Sawani to Colo-i-Suva

Parents call for action

Speeding remains a problem from Sawani to Colo-i-Suva

Numerous calls from people about speeding vehicles travelling between Sawani and Colo-i-Suva have gone unanswered, with more cars reportedly rushing through narrow bends both in the mornings and evenings.

Concerned residents and parents of Adi Cakobau School told fijivillage News that careless drivers continue to drive recklessly putting the lives of students and other commuters at risk.

When fijivillage News raised the issue with the Land Transport Authority, they said their operational team has been informed.

However, people say no action has been taken.

Parents are urging the relevant authorities to address their concerns urgently and to station officers along this corridor before a major accident occurs.
