The Vodafone Deans Southern Zone Secondary Schools Rugby Competition is venturing into new territory as the finals' tickets can be purchased online.

This after the Southern Zone Secondary Schools Rugby Committee signed a partnership with the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua to introduce a brand new ticketing system which will allow fans to purchase match tickets right through their phones on the club’s website.

Committee President Rusiate Wadali says they are trying to market their product which is the Southern Zone rugby and the Drua has the best platform.

He says they are grateful to an international club for coming down to support grassroot rugby.

Wadali says this will also minimize the hassle of fans in lining up to buy tickets at the gates on game day.

This week is the semi finals of the Southern Zone Rugby Competition that will be held in Suva.

In the U18 semi finals, Marist Brothers High School will face Nasinu Secondary School and Suva Grammar School will take on MGM High School.
