Sound equipment worth more than $1,000 stolen from a temple in Rakiraki
A sound equipment worth more than $1,000 was stolen from a temple in Rakiraki yesterday, and the Rakiraki Police are investigating a case of alleged sacrilege.
Police say the suspect had allegedly forcefully entered the Dugapatu Mariamman Temple and stole sound equipment.
Police officers have been conducting house-to-house enquiries with a focus on the quick arrest of the suspect.
Investigations continue.
