The Permanent Secretary for Ministry of Poverty Alleviation, Jennifer Poole says they are dealing with issues where some people who were taken back to their village by the Ministry have returned to the streets.

Poole says the three men and a woman who are sleeping next to the Samabula Post Office every night were taken back to their homes but they have decided to come back.

Poole says they are now dealing with this issue and will try to assist them again.

55-year-old taxi driver, Mirja Ahmed Sharif whose base is next to the Samabula Post Office says these four people are still sleeping next to the Samabula Post Office and claims that they were even drinking alcohol yesterday.

Sharif says out of the four, they assume two are mentally challenged and need help.

We have sent further questions to Poole.
