Some parts of the Western Division are still experiencing heavy rain which has resulted in flooding.
Tavua is now experiencing heavy rain and evacuation centers have been activated.
District Officer Tavua Osea Ravukivuki said that some roads are affected due to the heavy downpour and low lying areas have been flooded.
Meanwhile the National Fire Authority confirmed that these areas are underwater:
Nabuna village, Yaladro road is under 4 feet of water and is closed to all traffic, and Korovou bridge is under water.
According to the fire authorities in Tavua, four evacuation centers have opened which are Tavua district school, Tavua Primary School, Tavua College and Tavua Muslim Primary School.
