Some journalists will be taken to task - Ro Teimumu
Opposition Leader Ro Teimumu Kepa

Opposition Leader Ro Teimumu Kepa says there are journalists in Fiji who are props of what she terms as supporting a dictatorship.

Ro Teimumu has not revealed the names of these people however she says action will be taken against them.

In her statement on World Media Freedom Day, Ro Teimumu says these men and women who rely on hate and ignorance have no place in the media.

She goes on to say that these persons will be taken to task for their lies and hate reporting if SODELPA forms the next government in 2018.

Ro Teimumu says the Opposition still believes that Fiji still has dictatorship although we have had general elections in 2014 and now have parliamentary democracy.

She says the Opposition continues to talk about dictatorship, coups, censorship and repealing the Media Decree.

Fijivillage stresses that there is no censorship in our newsroom.
