The Solomon Islands Kurukuru have claimed the OFC Futsal Men’s Cup 2025, overpowering Tuvalu 7–0 in a decisive final at a packed Vodafone Arena in Suva yesterday, while hosts Fiji have settled for bronze.
Calvin Do’oro and captain Charlie Otainao scored a goal each, giving the Kurukuru a 2–0 lead at half-time.
The second half saw the Solomon Islands pull away with three quick goals, before Jayson Timi added the final goal making them the winners of this championship.
New Zealand finished second, while Tuvalu, making a return after 14 years, earned respect with their spirited run to the final.
