Six Fijian Drua players in Fijian Warriors side for two-match series against Samoa

Six Fijian Drua players have been selected in the 35-member Swire Shipping Fijian Warriors side that will prepare for the World Rugby Pacific Challenge two-match series against Samoa.

They are hooker Tevita Ikanivere, lock Sorovakatini Tuifagalele, Chris Minimbi, flanker Raikabula Momoedonu, centre Apisalome Vota and half-back Simione Kuruvoli.

Warriors Head Coach, Kele Leawere says these players bring in a lot of experience which will be an advantage for them.

He adds that the other players include 16 Under-20 players who recently took part in the Oceania Championship and 11 provincial players from the Skipper Cup.

The two-match series against Samoa will be held on the 27th of this month and the 3rd of next month at the HFC Bank Stadium, Suva.
