Sitiveni Rabuka who had resigned from parliament on Monday as the Opposition Leader has now resigned from SODELPA.
However, Rabuka posted on his facebook page that his political career is far from over.
He also posted 'next match new team.'
When questioned if he feels this is a great loss for the party, Leader Viliame Gavoka says they appreciate everything Rabuka has done for SODELPA.
Gavoka says Rabuka did not state any reasons for his resignation in his letter.
Rabuka had earlier highlighted that he had just resigned from parliament but he will continue to support the party.
