It seems that the Fiji Airways Fijiana side saved the best for last after they blitzed Great Britain 43-14 to clinch 7th place at the HSBC Singapore 7s.

Great Britain ran in two quick tries to Grace Crompton and Emma Uren before the Fijiana said hold my beer.

The Fijiana quickly replied through Vika Nakacia who scored a hat trick, Adita Milinia, Kelerayani Luvu, Ilisapeci Delaiwau and Michell Seruvatu with the final nail in the coffin after the full time hooter.

Conversions were added by Mereula Torooti, Luvu and Adi Mereani Rogosau.

Great Britain led 14-12 at half time.

The Fijiana won their first pool game 26-12 against Ireland before falling short 24-19 to France.

They were thrashed 27-0 by China in the 5th place semi final.

The Fijiana will now turn their focus to the LA 7s next month from the 3rd to the 4th May.
