The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team have lost their second pool match against a physical Samoan side 28-7.

The game was riddled with handling errors by Fiji where they failed to get their combinations right.

Samoa on the other hand were brutal at the breakdown and brought fast paced play which rattled Fiji in the first half.

Samoa scored a total of 4 tries while Iowane Teba scored Fiji’s only try of the match.

In earlier matches, Great Britain beat Ireland 14-7, New Zealand edged Australia 24-12, USA beat Kenya 21-19 and Canada beat Spain 21-7.

Fiji faces Spain later tonight at 11:33.

The cup quarter finals will begin at 4.18pm tomorrow, the cup semi finals kick off at 8.13pm while the cup final will kick-off at 11.28pm.
