Significant investment aims to restore new retail, entertainment and restaurants in Pacific Harbor

Tourists and locals will once again be able to experience the fire walking and cultural shows at the Arts Village in Pacific Harbour as the Damodar group aims to restore the village with new retail, entertainment and restaurants in partnership with Yatu Lau Company Limited.

In a video circulating on Facebook, holding the Arts Village Excellency award outside Arts Village, Damodar Group Chief Executive Officer Div Damodar announced that they are working hard to bring the entire masterpiece back to life.

Damodar also highlighted that Arts Village will be another tourism destination in Fiji adding to the tourism income.

He says by doing this they will not only make the people of Navua and nearby areas proud but the whole of Fiji.

Meanwhile, in a post on his social media account Tourism Fiji Chief Executive Officer Officer Brent Hill stated that he looks forward to working with the Damodar company to make this precinct a tourism gem which is perfect for the growing cruise and day trip market.

While sharing his experience as a child he highlighted that as a 12-year-old, one of his most lasting memories of his first trip to Fiji was the firewalking at the Arts Village, Pacific Harbour which mesmerised him.
