Sigatoka River Safari scoops Best Float at parade

The Miss Hibiscus 2024 Float parade brightened up the streets of Suva with their creatively coloured floats as they made their way from the Suva Flea Market to the Suva Foreshore.

Sigatoka River Safari, Siteri Qalubau scooped the top award for Best Float.

Floats small and large filled the City streets with people watching on and the unpredictable Suva weather did not dampen their spirits as people shouted out their support for their favourites.

From marching girls to the Police Band and a few corporate bodies, people took to the streets of Suva for the last day of the Miss Hibiscus Festival 2024.

The road was closed off from Rodwell Rd all the way to Albert Park.

The crowning of the new Miss Hibiscus 2024 will take place on the Suva Foreshore stage at 7 tonight.

Resonance signed band Vegas 6 will close out the entertainment on the main stage featuring the Vude Queen Laisa Vulakoro from 9pm.
