Sigatoka Andhra wins Nadroga U19 title, qualify for national championship

Sigatoka Andhra Sangam College are the Nadroga Secondary Schools Under-19 football champions and have qualified for the Fiji Secondary Schools Football Association Championship after they beat Sigatoka Valley High School 3-1 in the final.

In the Northwest Zonal playoffs, both Tavua College and Ba Sangam College have qualified for the FSSFA Championship in the Under-17 grade after Tavua College edged Ba Sangam College 1-0.

Tavua College’s open girls football team has made history after qualifying for the FSSFA Championship for the first time.

They beat AD Patel College 4-0 in the Northwest Zonal playoffs.

In the Tavua-Rakiraki Secondary Schools Football Association Under-19 semifinals, Rakiraki Public School beat Balata College 1-0, while Tavua College defeated Penang Sangam High School 3-0.

Rakiraki Public School and Tavua College have both qualified for the FSSFA Championship and will meet in the final of their zonal competition.

This is a historic achievement for Rakiraki Public, who have qualified for the national championship for the first time.

The 2025 FSSFA Championship will be held from the 20th to the 23rd of August at Ba Stadium.

The host district will be represented in the Under-19 grade by Ba Sangam College and Kamil Muslim College.
