The National Secretary of Shree Sanatan Dharm Pratinidhi Sabha Fiji is calling on Hindus that have flu-like symptoms to not participate in week-long Ram Naumi celebration starting next Wednesday.

Vijendra Prakash says those that have flu-like symptoms should just stay home and rest.

Prakash is also calling on those that will be attending Ram Naumi celebration to finish the prayer session by 10pm and there should not be overnight grog sessions.

He adds people should also refrain from sharing cups and bilos.

Ram Naumi celebration will take place from next Wednesday till April 2nd.
