Shortage of local dairy products due to lack of raw materials

The lack of raw materials has led to the short supply of locally made milk products.

Fijivillage noticed that for the past few weeks, there has been a shortage of supply of Rewa Butter, Rewa Life and Rewa Milk Powder in the supermarkets and consumers have had to rely on alternative products.

Fiji Dairy Limited Executive Chair, Amita Singh said this has been due to the shortage of raw material products and they are trying all their best to normalize the supply which is expected to take two to three months.
