Shoeshine boy, Sevesi Bakirewa thankful he's alive this Christmas

What are you thankful for this Christmas?

Some may be grateful for the new job they got, others may be thankful for their new car or house while many appreciate that they have been able to start a new family.

Everyone has something to be grateful for and shoeshine boy, Sevesi Bakirewa says he is thankful to be alive especially after losing three friends this year.

Bakirewa says he was also sick and bedridden for about two months this year.

He says he is taking some of his friends on the streets in Suva to spend Christmas with his family.

Market vendor, Ritesh Kumar says things will be normal for him today.

Kumar also hopes people will think about their children this Christmas.
