Seven juveniles were arrested yesterday as they were allegedly found playing touch rugby in Nadera.

Police Commissioner Sitiveni Qiliho has stressed that sporting restrictions remain the same and will only change once an official announcement is made.

Qiliho say a total of 11 arrests were made in the last 24 hours for breach of COVID-19 restrictions with all the arrests done in the Southern Division.

The Southern Division includes Samabula, Tamavua, Tacirua, Nabua and Nasinu, and other areas outside of the Suva Central area.

He says the other 4 arrests were linked to alcohol as they were found heavily intoxicated in the Samabula area during curfew hours.
