Seruiratu reminds Advisory Councillors to adhere to proper mechanisms that are in place
Minister for Agriculture, Rural and Maritime Development Inia Seruiratu

Minister for Rural and Maritime Development and Disaster Management Inia Seruiratu has urged Advisory Councillors in the north to respect the government machinery in place.

He made this comment while speaking to Advisory Councillors from Macuata during his three-day tour of the Northern Division.

Seruiratu says when Advisory Councillors follow the right channels, they are also ensuring that civil servants are doing their job.

He says should the Advisory Councillors have issues with the civil servants, they are to let their respective divisional commissioners know.

Seruiratu says the divisional commissioners have authority over all other Government departments in their respective divisions.
