Seriously look at helping those who are in need - Prasad

As Hindus in the country will begin Ram Naumi celebrations from tonight, the President of the Shree Sanatan Dharm Pratinidhi Sabha Fiji is calling on followers who are still earning to seriously look at helping those who are in need.

Ram Naumi is a Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Lord Rama.

Sarju Prasad says it is unfortunate that a number of people are still going through a lot of difficulties since the first case of COVID-19 last year.

He says now more than ever, we have to focus on Lord Rama’s traits which are satisfaction, loyalty, kindness, humility and spirituality.

Prasad says Lord Rama was satisfied with whatever he had, even a little less did not bother him.

The Ram Naumi celebrations will be held from tonight till next Wednesday.
