Semifinals set for Marist 7s U21 competition

The Marist Under 21 7s team booked a place in the 44th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s semifinals after beating Fire 12-5 at the ANZ Stadium last night.

They will now take on Tuva in the first semifinal today.

In the second semifinal, Ratu Filise will take on Dominion Brothers after beating Pacific Warrior Youth 15-0 in the quarterfinal.

Both semifinals will be played at 3.32 pm today.

In other quarterfinals yesterday, Tuva beat Radisson 19-0 while Dominion Brothers defeated Sacred Heart Youth 22-5.

The prizemoney in the Under 21 competition is $3,000 and the runner up gets $1,000.

Meanwhile, the main competition kicks off this morning with Police White taking on Tuvakarau Army at 8.

The winner in the men's competition will get $15,000 while the runner up gets $5,000.
