The Dawasamu Secondary School 2 girls' U18 side has created a major upset after winning all their pool games in the Raluve Girls Eastern Zone Secondary School 7s competition.
Dawasamu won by default against Lelean 1 before defeating Adi Cakobau School 2 20-0. They also thumped Muanaweni 26-0 in their last pool match.
Dawasamu Under 18 Coach Akariva Vuro told fijivillage News that the girls only had two days to prepare for this tournament.
Vuro says he is glad the girls stuck to their game plan and playing basic rugby, which is working well for them.
The quarter finals will begin after lunch.
