Police and villagers are searching for a 28-year-old man from Vunuku Village in Rewa, who went missing while diving with four others on Tuesday afternoon.
Divisional Police Commander East, Senior Superintendent of Police Josua Vodo, says search efforts are underway in waters off the Nasilai Lighthouse Reef.
He says initial search efforts were impacted and called off due to the deteriorating weather situation.
The search team consisting of police and villagers have so far searched Nasilai Beach and surrounding areas with negative results.
SSP Vodo says the search will continue today.
