Police are searching for 3 youths who allegedly stole a taxi yesterday afternoon at the junction of Kauvula Road and Delainavesi Road.
Police say the taxi driver picked up the 3 youths from the Suva Flea Market and was on his way to drop them at Baka Drive in Delainavesi.
It is alleged that upon reaching Kauvula Rd junction the driver stopped and got off to check the tyres when one of the suspects got into the driver’s seat and drove away.
Police have confirmed that the stolen taxi was later found abandoned at Kalekana, Lami late yesterday with minor damage.
