Year 12 Seaqaqa College student Shabiya Nisha says she feels happy after sitting her first Year 12 Certificate Examination paper this morning, describing it as easy.

Nisha is one of the 13,975 students sitting the Fiji Year 12 Certificate Examination across 177 centres from today.

She believes that because the first paper was easy, she feels motivated to perform well in the upcoming exams.

Nisha says her next paper is on Friday afternoon, and she and her classmates will prepare through group studies and revision with additional support from teachers.

She looks forward to being promoted to Year 13 next year.

The exams will conclude next week on Friday.
